The site is an ideal centre  for touring Cornwall's many attractions, within easy reach of beaches, water sports, fishing, golf courses, sanctuaries, theme parks, inns, boat trips, walks, and the natural beauty of the countryside, and coupled with one of the best scenic coastlines. 

The pleasures of nearby Bodmin moor where one can still wander in complete seclusion, are quite near;  and the grandeur of Dartmoor are within easy reach.
